Former Monastery Hotel
The building in which Lord Crewe Arms Blanchland is housed today was originally built in the mid 12th century and was used as a guest house for the Blanchland Abbey. After the dissolution of the Abbey in the 16th century, the building changed many owners, until it came to the ownership of Lord Crewe Trustees. Ever since then, it has been turned into a cosy accommodation where guests can enjoy food, rest and explore the surrounding area.
