Despite being rated as such, some guests have found Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa to be disappointing and falling short in a few areas. However with a mixed review, some have found their stay to be exceptional and would definitely return. The facilities and services are generally good for a family getaway, but for a £150+ night hotel, some guests expected better. The tea tray is not the best for a four-star hotel and there is no hotel directory which some found unusual. Overall, it's a lovely place and some guests can't wait to return very soon.
