Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThe Aberdeen Altens Hotel is a great option for families looking for spacious rooms and plenty of activities for kids. The family rooms are particularly impressive and the hotel is very family-friendly. However, some guests were put off by others coming to breakfast in their pajamas. The hotel's pool and spa are well-maintained and easy to use with children, but guests were disappointed that children were only allowed in the pool until 6pm. Overall, guests with children enjoyed their stays and appreciated the hotel's family-friendly atmosphere, but some noted that there were a lot of kids around and the facilities for heating up baby food could have been better. Despite staffing issues during functions, the hotel is in a great location and guests had a fun and clean experience during their family vacations.

St Michaels Resort, Falmouth

Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categorySt Michaels Resort in Falmouth is a great choice for families looking for a real holiday atmosphere with plenty of dog friendly activities. The hotel offers ample free parking and even left a birthday card for one guest's partner on the bed. However, while the facilities are excellent for families, some reviewers did note some issues. The changing area for girls is small, which can be tricky when with children and there's a potential hazard for small children. Reviewers also noted that the pool can get very busy during children and family swim times, monopolizing the timetable. Some guests would like more access for teenagers to the pool outside of family swim. Despite these issues, the hotel's locker room near the bar is a great place for kids to watch DVDs while parents enjoy a drink. However, some reviewers thought that the family rooms were way too small for a family of four. Finally, one reviewer noted that the hotel's restaurant is expensive for what's offered and the pool has limited hours for children. Overall, if you're looking for a family-friendly atmosphere with lots of activities, St Michaels Resort in Falmouth is a great choice.

Summary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThurnham Hall Resort is an ideal location for a quiet getaway with your loved ones. The resort offers excellent facilities for swimming and a play park for children, as well as designated safe pathways for walks with baby ducks to see. It's a great place to use as a base and spending valuable time with your family. There are family house accommodations with large, spacious rooms and kitchens for a self-catering holiday. Although, a poor quality sofa bed and some uncleanliness were reported by some guests. There's also an option to book a massage or a facial for a relaxing day off. Thurnham Hall Resort is fantastic for family breaks as it is family-friendly with plenty of space and efficient facilities. However, some guests reported the playground could be better and that access to the top floor might be difficult for older clients. Guests also noted that the tired playground was to be upgraded/refurbished in 2022. Unfortunately, some guests reported mistreatment of their children by other guests and their ages are not suitable for the spa facilities as there are age restrictions. Still, Thurnham Hall Resort is an excellent location to meet with family and relax in the spa. Overall, Thurnham Hall Resort is a fantastic location with superb facilities for families to enjoy. It's a pleasant couple of days away with friendly staff and a fantastic location, but please note that dogs are not allowed.

Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryFamilies looking for a relaxing break with their little ones will definitely appreciate the amenities that Crowne Plaza Chester, an IHG Hotel has to offer. Guests have rated the hotel very highly for its family-friendly atmosphere and ample activities that cater to kids. While some guests felt that the sofa bed may be a tad bit uncomfortable for older children, there is no denying the fact that the hotel has everything you need to keep your little ones happy and active throughout your stay. Families also appreciated the hotel's convenient location, excellent service and the option to choose from two separate rooms or have adjoining ones. With a generous 12 pm checkout and plenty of entertainment options on offer, this hotel is perfect for a nice family night away or even a Christmas family break. Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryFamilies looking for a fun-filled getaway needn't look any further than Crowne Plaza Solihull, an IHG Hotel. With plenty of family-friendly activities on offer, this hotel is a great choice for a break with the little ones. The big rooms are perfect for families of four and the swimming pool is a popular choice for children wanting to take a dip. While the all-inclusive menu does have a limited selection of food, the restaurant experience can be a bit of a wait, especially when travelling with children. However, the hotel is helpful and accommodating when requesting baby cots and even confirming allergy concerns. Unfortunately, adjoining rooms aren't always available, but the hotel staff will do what they can to ensure a comfortable stay. Although during our stay, we weren't able to use the bar for one of the days due to a lovely family wedding taking place, it made for an exciting ambiance. Overall, Crowne Plaza Solihull provides a great family-friendly experience that will make any family reunion or break memorable.

Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThe Isle Of Mull Hotel and Spa is a lovely hotel that warmly accommodates dogs, making breakfast with your furry friend a bonus. The hotel offers children's swimming lessons at the community pool, but the lane left for guest swimming is not ample enough for adults. The hotel guest changing rooms are also used by children, leaving clothes all over. The hotel has a modern country chic style and great facilities, including dog walking areas. However, the pool used to be hogged by families with small children and time limits for kids in the pool are now imposed. The hotel also has limited dining options nearby and it can be quite expensive to bring your pet. Room service must be requested and isn't maintained every day. While there are no specific activities for kids, it still is a dog-friendly hotel with accommodating staff, making it a lovely relaxing retreat. But be warned, some guests thought it wasn't worth the money and they wouldn't recommend it to their friends and family.

Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryThe Damson Dene Hotel is a great location for a family getaway or day trips out. One guest felt it was the perfect place to escape the city with their family and dogs for some time off work. The hotel is welcoming of dogs, offering plenty of space for them, which was appreciated by a guest who stayed with their furry friend. Families with children will appreciate the family rooms, which have lots of space for everyone. One child had a lot of fun during their stay. However, a lack of soundproofing in the family rooms resulted in some noise from other guests, including children screaming. Despite this, the hotel was still overall very good for a family stay. Breakfast was a highlight for many guests with a range of cooked food and freshly made croissants available, although some children did not enjoy the runny eggs. Families who stayed found their experience to be a nice one.

Family Friendly HotelSummary of reviews related to the 'Family' categoryHoliday Inn Cambridge, an IHG Hotel, offers a great family weekend away with plenty of family-friendly facilities to keep the little ones entertained. The hotel has a playground for kids, swings and a lovely pool which the kids enjoyed. Additionally, the hotel offers a family room so that families can all be together in one room with a nice big room to fit all 5 of you. The reception even made a special effort for a 5-year-old grandson. Families also have access to an excellent breakfast with good sized family rooms that feel clean and well kept. However, the hotel did receive some concerning feedback about two coachloads of children not fully supervised and the lack of friendliness at the sauna and gym towards a family. Also if you have a disabled child, the hotel goes above and beyond to help you out. While some reviewers mentioned that their room was on the small side for a family, the hotel is still a good affordable option for families visiting nearby relatives or wanting a place to stay for the night.
