Location

Hamre Apartments (Nicholas) has a truly exceptional location with an amazing view of the bay of Agios Georgios. The apartments are located just a few steps away from the beach and the views from the bedroom and terrace are breathtaking. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing holiday by the sea. There are many great restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket within easy walking distance. The apartments offer a great starting point for exploring the area by car or on foot. Parking is available right in front of the house. The host, Nicolai, is always available and very helpful. If you want to enjoy a beautiful beach with turquoise water and white sand, Hamre Apartments (Nicholas) is the perfect place for you!

Breakfast

The breakfast experience at Hamre Apartments (Nicholas) is simply breathtaking according to guests. Most guests had breakfast daily in the lovely terrace with a panoramic view of the entire bay, swallows nests and the sea while enjoying different meals, including omelets with vegetable and feta filling, cheese, olives, vegetables, nuts and seasonal fruits. The breakfast was served from 10-12 am in a nearby restaurant with friendly waiters and a warm package made by them. The fantastic breakfast served in the restaurant on the beach was also a highlight with an extensive and delicious selection. Some guests had the breakfast served on their requested terrace, which was beyond sensational with an excellent buffet and an appealing view of the bay. However, some guests said that the bread at breakfast was not always fresh. Despite this, the overall breakfast was abundant, good and recommended for anyone visiting the location.

The location provides constant lapping of the waves of the Ionian Sea that is so relaxing. The beach is sandy with little stones and is very wide and beautiful. The hotel provides long-chairs and bamboo-umbrellas for rent at a reasonable price. There are only a few umbrellas; most of the beach is without them. Moreover, near the hotel, there is the Porto Timoni beach, which is one of the best places to see in Corfu, also accessible by foot. This part of Agios Georgios is more calm than the rest of the beach.

Guests who want to enjoy the beauty of Porto Timoni should walk to the beach from the nearby village of Afionas, which takes about 40 minutes but offers amazing views. It's a perfect recommendation for guests looking for a nice and enjoyable beach and recreation place. Hamre Apartments has a fabulous location with an excellent sea view right next to the beach. You can reach the beach in just two minutes on foot. Our accommodation was quasi-directly on the beach, so it was very convenient. The water in the sea is always clean and crystal-clear. We enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise from our spacious and comfortable apartment's terrace.

The garden includes sun loungers, sun umbrellas, tables and chairs to relax in while enjoying the fantastic views of the beach and the sea. It's a beautiful and relaxing place to stay for couples, families or solo travelers. Moreover, there is a little shortcut to the beach that saves time. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the shops and restaurants are close to the accommodation. The beach is almost always calm and not too crowded, so it is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the sea's beauty. Overall, it's a peaceful and charming vacation spot to explore the hidden beaches of Corfu.
