Location

The location of Anasa Corfu is a mix of pros and cons according to guest reviews. On the positive side, the hotel is in a perfect and well-located position for those who want to enjoy a tranquil and beautiful place with amazing views of the sea and mountains. The property is placed on the side of a mountain with excellent views across the sea and guests can have a great view from bed. Additionally, there are nice traditional tavernas within walking distance as well as restaurants nearby. The bus stop is right at the doorstep and there are beaches en route south, making it a great location away from the crowds. Moreover, the hotel is a short 15-minute taxi ride from the airport and placed midway between the main beaches and the old town of Corfu.

However, there are also some negative comments, such as the location being quite isolated and not easily accessible without a car or bike. Although Benitses village is only a 20-minute walk along a very busy main road with no pavement, it can be hard to get to the hotel without a vehicle. Some guests also mentioned that the location is not great and the hotel is a bit remote. Others said that it's a bit far away from beaches and there's no easy access to the sea, but the adventures of finding the path were fun anyway. Some guests advised having a car, quad or motorcycle to explore Corfu as it would be the best way to enjoy everything the island has to offer.

The breakfast bar lady is charming, but the breakfast bar may be basic and swarming with wasps. Although there were complaints about sub-standard breakfast, everything being cold and not many healthy options, the breakfast was generally good. However, it is not included in the room rate and there is very limited choice for breakfast. Some guests considered the breakfast too basic for the occasion, while others found it small but delicious with the daily offering changing. Additionally, the breakfast space is outdoors by the pool and may be less enjoyable due to wasps and insects, although some suggest creating a closed-off area to enjoy breakfast without fear.
