Widbrook Grange is a stunning hotel situated in a lovely rural area surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside views. The location is very convenient for exploring the local area with good public transport links and lots to see and do nearby. Guests recommend visiting the Bath Arms, a great pub just a 20-minute drive away. The hotel is also an ideal base for exploring the local historical sites, such as the Saxon church and National Trust Court's Garden at Holt. If you're looking for a family-friendly activity, Longleat Safari Park is just a short drive away. The hotel is in walking distance to Bradford-on-Avon, perfect for those who love walking or would like to experience the charming town. However, guests noted that road noise can be heard from the grounds when windows are open. Despite this, the location is great in fine weather and the hotel bar is awesome with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall, Widbrook Grange is an excellent choice for a lovely rural stay in a beautiful location with great access to nearby towns and attractions.

The staff's attention to detail and friendly service are impressive with Annie and Sarah earning special mention as being exceptionally helpful. The bar staff and kitchen also receive compliments with a knowledgeable barman on staff to help you find your perfect gin. The waiting staff and the reception staff are efficient, friendly and welcoming throughout your stay, adding to the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere at the hotel. Beside this, the breakfast, dinner and other meals are excellent with top-notch service.

Pool

Widbrook Grange offers a beautiful stay in a farm-like mansion, including great facilities and excellent service. The indoor heated swimming pool and gym were well designed with changing facilities available from early till late. Although some guests mentioned missing the amenities of towels, gowns or slippers by the pool, having the ability to book slots ensured that it didn't get too crowded. On the downside, some found the pool and changing facilities old fashioned and needing updating and a few mentioned that the pool itself could have been cleaner. Nonetheless, having the pool to themselves was a bonus for many guests, particularly for children who enjoyed playing in the warm water.
