As guests make their way through The Avenues at Atlantis, The Palm, they'll come across one of the world's most epic waterparks: Aquaventure. With over 105 record-breaking slides, attractions and experiences, they'll be able to explore the largest waterpark in the world and get their heart racing with excitement. Thrill-seekers won't want to miss the chance to take on the heart-pumping rides at Aquaventure. Leap of Faith is a slide that sends people plummeting down a near-vertical drop right through a shark-filled lagoon. For those feeling extra daring, the "scarier sister" of Leap of Faith: Blackout is a ride only for the most fearless of riders, as they'll plummet down a near-vertical drop and reach high speeds from beginning to end. For a friendly competition, groups of friends and families can take on the Hydra Racer: a battle between 4 people racing to the bottom of the slide and competing for the "Trident." The waterpark also features plenty of river rides to enjoy. A trip down the longest river in the region with River Rapids will twist and spin you through raging torrents and offer a rush of adrenaline with every turn. There are also large pools with spacious sun decks for guests to dip in and out of the water. Younger guests will have a blast at the biggest kid's only waterpark experience in the Middle East. When a break from all the excitement is needed, guests can take a stroll along the 1km of private beach or relax at one of the park's restaurants or outdoor kiosks. A range of exciting motorized and non-motorized watersports are also on offer for even more fun. The Aquaventure Waterpark is open daily from 9:30am to 6:00pm. and offers complimentary water socks to all guests to protect their feet from the heat. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult and certain rides are restricted to guests over 1.2m for safety reasons. If taller than 1.2m, an adult ticket for admission must be purchased.
