Booking dinner in the restaurant can also be a challenge unless done in advance with guests reporting that the restaurant was fully booked when they tried to make a reservation. Some guests also reported issues with food not being fresh, starters not arriving and staff not being attentive. Despite this, the hotel is praised for its lovely staff and good service. It is worth noting that guests who preferred more options did find some relief in the reduced menu available in the Sitting room.Overall, the quality of food, good wine and attentive staff make dining at The Daffodil Hotel & Spa a nice experience with a few improvements still needed to improve the dinner options available.

While some described the beds as massive and super comfortable or the most comfy bed, others found them to be not very comfortable, too hard or even compared them to concrete. Some guests were satisfied with the size of the bed with one describing it as a nice big bed or very large and comfortable bed, while others wished the bed could have been softer or more sumptuous. Some reviews mentioned the pillow selection as needing revision with a limited choice between flat and flat pillows. Overall, the spa facilities were described as wonderful, good, clean and even fantastic by a number of guests. However, some did find the spa area to be overcrowded or in need of maintenance. The pool was also noted to be more suitable for relaxing than for swimming. Unfortunately, a few guests also had difficulty booking spa treatments or found them to be unexciting. Nevertheless, the spa was generally considered to be luxurious, relaxing and addictive.

4 Star
The Daffodil Hotel & Spa seems to be a popular destination among travellers, but some guests feel it is overpriced for what they get. Despite the Michelin star award the hotel won 9 years ago, some visitors are disappointed by the price they paid for their stay, expecting more for a four-star hotel. However, others found it to be a superb stay, rating the hotel 7.00, 8.00 and even 9.00 out of 10. While some found it a bit expensive, the hotel's facilities and services overall received positive reviews. All in all, it appears that while it may be a nice place to stay, some guests don't feel it's worth the cost.

Although some guests commented on furniture in the pool area being damaged, overall the hotel just oozes quality. It's a spacious and comfortable purpose-built hotel that's perfect for an indulgent treat on a special occasion, providing treatments for that extra touch of luxury. However, some guests mentioned that the hotel wasn't worth the money with a few corners being cut to save costs. Still, it's a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous spot that simply begs to be experienced.
