Breakfast
At Palatia Village Hotel Apartments, guests can enjoy a good or even great breakfast with some describing it as delicious. The breakfast buffet is complete and standard, but overall satisfactory, although some guests feel that the variety and quality could be improved. The only downside mentioned by some is the lack of diversity and Cretan specialties. However, guests appreciate the wide mealtime window and the generous portions. It's worth noting that breakfast starts at 8:30, which can be a little late for those going on excursions. Despite some minor issues, most guests seem to enjoy their breakfast at Palatia Village Hotel Apartments.

Dinner
Palatia Village Hotel Apartments offers a half-board option which includes dinner and guests have nothing but good things to say about it. Many describe the dinner as fantastic and delicious with some even mentioning that the portions were often abundant. Guests appreciate the variety with one review highlighting the pleasant tavern setting and another mentioning the à la carte menu. Although there were a few negative comments about the limited selection and not-so-fresh food, the overwhelming positive reviews suggest that the hotel's dinner options are a definite highlight of the stay. Breakfast is also included in the half-board package and many guests found it to be excellent. Overall, if you're looking for a worry-free dining experience at Palatia Village, the half-board option is definitely worth considering.

Rooms

The apartments are spacious and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay for guests. The bedding is comfortable and some rooms offer a fantastic view of the sea. The hotel is also surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. The pool is very pleasant, although guests would prefer it staying open a bit later. A minor inconvenience is the noise from the bar, balanced out by the reasonable prices. The apartments could feel a bit outdated to some, but the owners maintain them diligently.

The staff always wears masks and is very accommodating, making your stay as pleasant as possible. The cleaners are even praised for being fantastic! Almost every guest has had an unforgettable experience with some even saying that George and his staff were professional, kind and human at all times. While there is one negative review about a staff member being less friendly, virtually every other comment celebrates the staff's warmth and sense of humor. Whether you speak French, Dutch, or English, the staff will make sure to assist you with whatever you need. The hotel's breakfast woman was especially appreciated, as was the fact that one of the bartenders spoke Dutch. Overall, everyone—from the owners to the cleaning staff—is extremely welcoming, making for a truly enjoyable stay at Palatia Village Hotel Apartments.

Pool

There are two pools: one for adults and one for children, both serviced by a nice pool bar that offers drinks and food throughout the day. The pool is very clean and ideal for chilling by with always enough space to find a spot. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere around the pool and the fact that the quiet time is well-respected between 22:00 and 7:00. The only downside is that the pool closes at 19:00, which some guests find a bit too early. Other than that, guests highly recommend this hotel for its great pool, bar and clean facilities.
