The unique location offers amazing views and a chance to experience the real Crete. While slightly remote and difficult to find, it is a great place from where to explore the south and east of Crete with plenty of nice beaches and cozy little villages to visit nearby. The road leading to the hotel may be rural and winding, but it's worth the drive for the stunning natural surroundings. The hotel is cleverly set up and there is a pleasant path that takes you down into Makry Galios in only 15 minutes, where you can take a short walk to the beach and shops. The location also offers a chance to witness some beautiful piece of architecture in an extremely nice location. Although the access by road may be difficult, it's still carrossable and the effort is well worth the reward. Aspros Potamos is a perfect place to experience the tranquil energy of the surroundings and enjoy a unique stay in a picturesque setting.
