Dinner
The dinner experience at Hilton Manchester Deansgate has received mixed reviews from guests. While some found the exceptional restaurant to serve Michelin star quality food, others felt that the limited choice of food was overpriced and not satisfying. Deserts were criticized for their awful flavor combinations and tiny portions. Guests who paid for half board were disappointed by the closure of the restaurant on certain days and the lack of options in the lobby bar where the food was served cold. One guest complained of a misleading room service menu that showed a photo of pizza but had no pizza. Another guest encountered a long wait time for their starter followed by a tough and smelly main course. However, some guests appreciated the pretty-looking food that tasted delicious. Overall, it is advisable to check the restaurant's operating hours and the menu options thoroughly before placing an order to avoid disappointment.

Rooms
Guests have mixed opinions about the rooms at Hilton Manchester Deansgate. While some praised the spacious and clean rooms, others complained about outdated furnishings, tired interiors and unpleasant smells. Several guests noted issues with broken or faulty amenities such as fridges and air conditioning units, as well as missing or non-functional plug sockets. Broken furniture, tatty carpets and chipped tiles were common complaints. Some rooms had good views while others had basic ones. There were also concerns about cleanliness with dirty carpets, grouting and tiles in the bathrooms. Many guests recommended that the rooms require an update. On the other hand, some guests loved their rooms, citing factors such as a lovely bathroom, modern décor and comfortable beds. Despite the mixed reviews, guests still thought that it was a beautiful hotel in a great location.

Beds
After reviewing guest feedback, the beds at Hilton Manchester Deansgate seem to be a mixed bag. Some visitors found them to be very comfortable and soft, while others had the opposite experience. Some mentioned that the beds were very noisy throughout the night, causing disturbances in sleep. In addition, several guests were disappointed with the size of the beds with some rooms only having small doubles instead of kings which would be more appropriate. Furthermore, some visitors were unhappy with the quality of the pillows and duvets with some feather pillows being too small and the duvets being too light to keep the room warm. Some even went so far as to say that the beds at Premier Inn were better. Overall, while some guests had positive experiences, others would recommend looking into alternative options before booking a stay at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate.

Cleanliness
Guests staying at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate have a lot to say about the cleanliness of the property. While some areas showed wear, the hotel was described as "beautiful" and "exceptional" by many. Most guests were pleased with their clean rooms, however, a few experienced dirty carpets, dusty/dirty rooms and empty supplies like tissues and shower gel. The pool and jacuzzi were also mentioned as being clean and easily accessible. Overall, the building was well-maintained and staff were responsible for keeping things tidy. Nonetheless, a few guests found dirty shower sides or black mould on the shower head. If you're planning a stay at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate, it's worth noting that while most areas were spotlessly clean, some guests did have concerns with the cleanliness of their rooms or the quality of supplies provided.

Pool
Guests have mixed feelings about the pool at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate. Some say that the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were fantastic, clean and great for families. Others were disappointed by the limited opening hours, which were not always communicated ahead of time. Some felt misled because they specifically booked the hotel for the pool but were unable to use it due to early closing times or unexpected closures, such as on Boxing Day. The spa area received positive comments overall with easy access to the pool, clean facilities and relaxing views.

Nightlife
The Hilton Manchester Deansgate is conveniently located near a variety of bars, shops and restaurants, making it the ideal spot for those looking for a lively night out on the town. Guests can easily access popular spots including the trendy Cloud Bar, as well as other nearby bars and restaurants just a short 5 minute walk away. However, some guests were disappointed to find that the Cloud Bar was closed for a private function during their stay. Despite this, overall the hotel offers a pleasant stay in a great central location, although some found it lacking in interest beyond just a place to sleep. One downside was having to go down 19 floors due to a fire alarm, but this was just a minor inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

4 Star
The Hilton Manchester Deansgate is a great hotel situated in the city centre; however, it may not be worth the price for some guests. While the staff are generally friendly and the restaurant exceptional, some guests found the overall stay to be overpriced and the room quality not quite meeting expectations for a four star hotel. Additionally, some guests found the room to be tired and in need of updating. However, the hotel does have a beautiful reception and a clean pool and jacuzzi. Ultimately, whether or not the Hilton Manchester Deansgate is worth the expense depends on the individual guest's priorities and budget.

Its location is convenient, making it easy to find and with parking available in the nearby multistorey opposite. The hotel staff are accommodating, allowing early check-ins and arranging for rooms to be close together. Although there were some design faults in the bathroom, the pool and jacuzzi were clean. Unfortunately, the changing rooms lacked privacy with no individual cubicles. Additionally, the taps for the shower/bath were awful and the sink ones had no indication of hot or cold on/off. Overall, the hotel was rated as being okay, but hygiene control was an issue with only two elevators working most of the time causing long waits due to others being out of service.
