What is the history of the property?
Torrdarach House was built by Mr William Briggs in 1901 as his summer residence! William Briggs was the pioneer of bitumen and waterproof materials in the UK!
William Briggs lived and worked on the East Coast of Scotland and Pitlochry was his go to holiday destination.

Yes! The roof has been done, all rooms have now been brought right up to date.
There is a new conservatory breakfast room and all of the original sash windows have now been renovated and draft proofed.

The window all have the original wooden surrounds, the vestibule has the original floor tiles and it‘s original ceiling lamp.
All of the windows are original and most of the doorways have their original wooden surrounds and points above the doors. There are also original stained glass windows inside the building!
