Giannatos' Studios - Makis is the perfect place to stay if peace and quiet is what you're after. The location is excellent and provides a fantastic view of Poros. The town is small and charming with a few very good tavernas and beaches nearby. The view from the room is wonderful and there is shade during the day. If you're reasonably fit and healthy, walking or driving up the steep hill won't be a problem. Being close to the port is also a plus. However, finding the hotel on your own can be a bit difficult without a car and parking can be problematic during peak season. The road to the accommodation is narrow and parking on the side of the road can make access difficult during the night. All in all, the location of the hotel is superlative and ideal to explore the island.
