For the adventurous souls seeking to cool off under the Mediterranean sun, the resort's waterpark is a must-visit attraction. Boasting an impressive Splash Pool covering 500 square meters, the waterpark offers a thrilling experience with its three exciting water slides. Race your friends on the two-lane racing slide, feel the excitement of the float slide or ride the wavy body slide for a real adrenaline rush. The Splash Pool has a depth of 145cm and provides a refreshing escape from the scorching sun. The younger guests can also make a splash in the children's outdoor pool, which covers an area of 25 square meters with a depth of 35cm, so parents can rest easy knowing their kids are having a safe and fun time while splashing around in the water. Children under the age of six and/or under the minimum height of 120cm are not allowed to use the water slides. Excellent

Location

Nestled up on a hill, the Louis St. Elias Resort & Waterpark is in a lovely setting with a breathtaking sea view from the top. The location is excellent with walking distance to Sunrise beach and Fig Tree bay and close to the center of Protaras. Although the location may be a little far out, a bus ride or a 5-minute car ride can take you to the beach. The hotel is also close to a lovely church that can be visited. The pool facilities are impressive with a view down the village towards the open sea that is just breathtaking. The location is quiet but still close to the nightlife of Protaras and is suitable for families with older children. However, for families with toddlers or babies in a pushchair, the steep walk back from the city might be unsuitable. Nonetheless, some rooms are conveniently close to the waterpark pool while still out of the way, making for a good location. All in all, the location and view of the hotel are very nice and perfect for a relaxing or fun-filled family vacation.

Breakfast

The breakfast experience at Louis St. Elias Resort & Waterpark was exceptional with delicious high-quality food made fresh daily. The buffet selection changed daily with great choices and the friendly staff ensured that everyone had a pleasant dining experience. Plentiful options were available and it was hard not to find something you like. The food was well presented with plenty of variety, including international and special dishes and the desserts were just wow! With a spacious dining area, the breakfast was an excellent choice for families. Although some guests found the buffet options limited and got bored quickly, the quality of the food was still very good. Overall, the breakfast was a nice and tasty start to the day. One thing worth considering is that breakfast finishes quite early and some guests suggested that it should close after 10:00.

The waterpark has two separate pool areas, one at the top where the slides are full of activities and alive – loved by kids of all ages. The waterslides were brilliant and there was zero waiting time in queues. It's definitely the main reason to choose the hotel, as it's a great attraction for children. The water games were very fun for the kids and the nice waterpark facilities for the kids (and their parents!!!) to enjoy. However, it would be better if the website and booking.com clearly stated the height/age restrictions for using the water slides. The location of the room near the waterpark pool was very convenient. Please note, for your younger ones, swimming slides were forbidden below age 7. Overall, a great experience for families with kids!
