The outdoor swimming pool is decently sized and wasn't too crowded when we visited at the end of the summer. The hotel also provides comfortable single beds for children as a free extra. It's a wonderful place to stay with friends and family and especially pet-friendly. The hotel appeals to a wide demographic of families, offering relaxed family fun with so much for the kids to do and explore safely. Although one guest encountered a small portion of the child's meal with excessive salt, overall, our great family holiday was much enjoyed by all generations.

For those with dogs, the resort is dog-friendly and there are loads of spaces for kids to run and play safely. However, some guests commented that the chalets need refurbishing with issues such as mould on the ceiling and scratches on panel doors.

Overall, the resort is good value for money, though guests were disappointed by the lack of basic supplies provided in their chalets, such as toilet rolls and washing up liquid. Despite this, the location, facilities and surroundings make it a fab destination for a short break away with the family.

Whilst some guests noted that their room lacked a fridge and air conditioning, every request is catered for. Overall, Bowfield Hotel & Country Club is an excellent choice for families looking for a comfortable stay with plenty of activities for both kids and adults.
