Matinloc Resort is located in the stunning Matinloc Island, which features a beautiful setting and beach front with a white sand lagoon. The resort is situated in a secluded area that provides an amazing location for a peaceful vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The location is described as top-notch, superb and amazing by many guests who enjoyed the beautiful views from the resort. Despite being isolated from the world, it is not very far from other islands that can be visited during an island tour making it a nice location to explore. The location of the resort is perfect for those looking for a child-free holiday or a romantic getaway. Overall, Matinloc Resort's location will transport you to another planet and leave you mesmerized by its beauty.

Dinner

Matinloc Resort offers a unique dining experience with their one restaurant that caters to both vegetarians and pescatarians. Guests love the fresh fish stocked by the jetty and the opportunity to dine in various areas to watch the moon rise. For a special occasion, the resort even has a gazebo for a romantic dinner under the stars. Though some guests criticized the cafeteria quality and Michelin star prices, others raved about the excellent dishes they tasted. The only downside was the long waiting times with some guests waiting up to 2 hours for their food to be served. Despite the expensive prices, the overall dining experience was marvelous with the views and exceptional dishes making it all worthwhile.

The beach villas are stunning and spacious with incredible comfort. The rooms are nicely designed with fantastic views and good size. Some guests noted that the rooms need some renovation, as they are getting older with surface work needed and the hotel needs some TLC. Despite this, the amenities did not disappoint and the rooms were very comfortable. However, some reviews noted blood stains from mosquitoes on the walls. Overall, Matinloc Resort offers generous room sizes and well-appointed villas that will leave you feeling comfortable and catered to during your stay.

Welcome to Matinloc Resort - paradise on earth with outstanding staff! The staff at Matinloc Resort are truly exceptional, providing excellent and very helpful service. They are exceptionally nice, attentive and friendly, making the guests feel at home from the minute they walk in. The kindness and support of the whole staff is one of the highlights of the resort. Guests have bonded with some of the staff members like Jayson Guilalas, Ian and Jonathan from the F&B team. The staff is always approachable, accommodating and courteous, attending to every detail promptly. The guest reviews reveal that the staff is amazing, great and welcoming. Even though there were some negative comments about the slow service of some staff, guests have unanimously praised the staff as being one of the highlights of the hotel.
