Guests can reach all the stunning beaches on the west coast, including Balos, Falassarna and Elafonisi, in under an hour's drive. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff maintains a well-organized site. The location is strategic for visiting the Balos Lagoon and Falasarna Beach and it's not far from Hania. While a car is necessary to reach the site and be mobile, there is a good public transportation system nearby. The wild and beautiful stone beaches are just a few minutes' walk away and there's even a winery close by. While the campsite doesn't have a beach, the stunning sea views and exceptional sunsets make up for it. The great swimming pool is an added bonus. Overall, Camping Nopigia is a fantastic location to explore the best beaches of Crete and enjoy the peacefulness of nature right next to the sea.
