If you're visiting Augusta and looking for a comfortable, clean and cozy place to stay at, the Senator Inn & Spa is the perfect spot for you. The rooms are accessible through both interior and exterior entrances, which is a lovely feature and everything is kept very clean. While some guests mentioned the rooms are small and slightly outdated, many rave about the jacuzzi tubs in some of the rooms. The beds are comfortable and though some guests suggest they could use an upgrade, they're still quite cozy. Additionally, some rooms are quite spacious and a great size for a longer stay. Regardless of the size, all rooms are spotless, which is definitely appreciated. While some rooms had an older feeling, they still have a classic motel charm that many guests enjoyed. However, a few guests noticed some dated furniture and cosmetic repairs were needed. Some guests also mentioned that the walls are thin and sound easily carries, so light sleepers should be aware of that. The hotel's room layout isn't the best and some guests found it confusing to navigate. But, the service is superb and guests appreciate the presence of tea bags in the room, not just coffee. The central parking area is very convenient and some rooms even have direct access to it. All in all, the Senator Inn & Spa offers good rooms that may benefit from some small upgrades, but the cleanliness and cozy atmosphere make it a great spot to stay in during a visit to Augusta.
