Guests highly recommend the hotel for both families and couples looking to relax and enjoy their vacation. While some guests cautioned against booking transportation from/to CMB Airport ahead due to the current financial and fuel crisis, visitors who stayed at the hotel praised the well-managed and high-quality service. Although there were some dissenting voices regarding the location and food not living up to the five star standard at other hotels in Sri Lanka, guests generally agreed that Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa is one of the best Marriott's they have ever seen.
