Although it's a little far from the beach in Santa Maria, there is a complimentary shuttle service that runs every day. There are two beautiful beaches nearby, but some guests found them rocky or covered in dog poo. However, there are opportunities to spot turtles while swimming and a nearby beach bar provides a great spot to take in the view. The resort itself is right by the ocean and has a small private beach, while the restaurant and pool also offer lovely views of the sea. It's a calm and tranquil location and some guests were lucky enough to have a sun lounger on the nearby beach all to themselves. While some guests found the beach not ideal for swimming, it's excellent for snorkeling due to the coral reef around it.
