Former Castle Hotels in Beja

The castle was built in the 15th century, although it is believed that a former castle stood on its grounds since the Roman era. After a severe earthquake, most of the castle was destroyed, but renovation works brought it as close as possible to original state before being turned into a hotel in 1993. The castle is also considered a National Monument.
