Former Castle Hotels in Bellingwolde

Located in the town of Wedde, this castle was built in the 14th century, but underwent many repairs and rebuilding processes over the centuries. Each repair work left behind traces and elements of the era it was done in, while the castle's fortifications were also slowly removed, making the building resemble more a farmhouse rather than a castle.
