Guests appreciate the hotel's strategic location, close to large shopping centers and providing ample parking—ideal for those on layovers or traveling by car. Despite being in an industrial area, the hotel is noted for its surprising tranquility and ease of access to the city center of Ulm, which is a short walk away. Proximity to the highway and public transport further enhances its accessibility, although the surrounding brothels and gambling dens created a somewhat grim atmosphere for some. Nonetheless, most found the location convenient for their needs, supported by an easy check-in process and consistently high standards of cleanliness.
The breakfast service at Economy-Hotel exceeds expectations for many, featuring a rich and varied buffet with ample, tasty options, although a few guests noted that the selection could use more variety and replenishment later in the morning. Cleanliness of the dining area and friendly service further enhanced the experience.
Rooms at Economy-Hotel are noted for their modern, practical design and cleanliness. Guests find the rooms comfortable and well-equipped, particularly praising the spacious bathrooms and effective air conditioning. The hotel offers essentials like a bed, wardrobe, TV, shower and toilet and the check-in process is smooth. However, occasional noise from nearby busy streets and minimalistic amenities might not suit longer stays. Overall, the rooms provide a comfortable stay for short visits.

For families, the hotel offers family rooms and packages enhancing their stay, complemented by free parking spaces. However, the proximity to a brothel and logistical issues with room assignments on different floors posed some challenges. The clean and welcoming environment is ideal, but families should be aware of the surroundings.
