As we arrived at the Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa, we were delighted with the cleanliness and coziness of our room. The chamber maid did an outstanding job and we felt right at home in our quaint surroundings. Although some guests mentioned that they noticed a strange smell in their rooms, we didn't have any issues with that. Despite limited housekeeping due to the pandemic, we were pleased with the cleanliness of our room. The amenities, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were top-notch and the pools were pristine. However, some areas just outside the rooms were dirty and unkept and trash was not collected as often as it should have been. We believe that the staff should be sweeping the property daily to maintain its cleanliness. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but some guests mentioned the need for an update and a better maintenance regime to keep the hotel up to par.
