The Lodge At Meyrick Park is a well-located gem of a hotel with easy access to the centre of Bournemouth and the beach, yet with the quiet comfort of a woodland setting. While the breakfast menu was varied and delicious, some guests found it basic and lacking in healthy choices. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious with modern bathrooms and fluffy towels, although some guests found the furnishings and decor to be basic or outdated. The exceptional cleanliness of the hotel was noted by many guests, although there were occasional issues with damp floors or poor housekeeping. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make guests feel cared for and valued. The spa and leisure facilities were fantastic with a large swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym and access to all sports facilities was provided. The parking was ample but could be tight in some spots. The golf course was a great addition to the hotel, although some guests felt more care was given to the golf club and spa than to the accommodation. The beds were generally comfortable, although some guests experienced issues with thin duvets or painful joins. Guests with mobility issues may find it difficult to access certain areas of the hotel.
