The pool area is pleasant with plenty of sun loungers. Unfortunately, the hammam and sauna were not working during some guests' stays. Some guests felt that the spa area could have been better maintained with the sauna needing more attention. A few guests found the spa area a little lackluster with only one unheated pool. Others found the cleanliness of the area to be an issue with strong mold smell in the Turkish bath. One guest even termed the sauna as "ranzig" or rancid. Guests couldn't book a massage during their stay, but overall the spa appeared to be a positive addition to the Catalonia del Mar - Adults Only experience.
