Airport Hotel Sydney is often praised for its exceptionally convenient location, situated just a short 10-minute drive from the airport. Its proximity to the Arncliffe train station and various bus routes makes it an ideal choice for travelers needing quick access to transportation links. The central positioning, coupled with pleasant staff, enhances the seamless travel experience for guests.
The hotel offers rooms that many guests find nice and spacious, providing enough room to move around comfortably. The bathrooms receive particular praise for their size, contributing to the overall sense of roominess. Cleanliness is frequently noted positively with rooms being described as clean and adequately equipped to meet basic needs. Despite some occasional negative comments regarding basic room designs, cold temperatures, unpleasant smells and stains, the general guest experience remains favorable due in large part to the space and cleanliness of the rooms.
Cleanliness reviews are mixed with some guests reporting a clean and tidy environment and very nice bedrooms. However, other reviews point out significant issues such as spider webs, dusty exposed pipes and rooms that seem to be falling apart or have a strong paint smell. While positive remarks about cleanliness are present, these concerns highlight areas where improvement is needed.
Overall, the fantastic location, spacious rooms and general cleanliness make Airport Hotel Sydney a popular choice for travelers, although there are areas that could benefit from attention.
