Location
The Empress Hotel is a beautiful hotel located in a central and superb location on the seafront, making it an ideal location for easy access to public transport and local amenities. The hotel is located within walking distance to the ferry, train stations and bus stops, making travel around the island easy. Guests enjoyed the fantastic views over Douglas Bay and appreciated the access to the horse tram just across the road. The hotel is within a short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants, making it a good spot for those looking for good value and quality accommodation. The piano bar was mentioned as really good to eat in and the great breakfast was a hit with guests too. The location was deemed perfect by most and the fact that the position, view and access to public transport were excellent, makes it a must-stay for anyone visiting Douglas.
