The hotel's breakfast consistently receives high praise for its excellence, variety and quality. Guests appreciate the abundant and varied buffet featuring pastries, cereals, eggs, sausages and fresh products. Despite lacking modern amenities such as air conditioning and soundproofing, the nostalgic charm and affordability make them suitable for short stays. Some rooms have been partially renovated, offering a slightly more modern experience. While maintenance issues and a need for further renovation are apparent, the stunning views and serene surroundings compensate for these shortcomings.
Cleanliness is generally well-maintained, especially in individual rooms and bathrooms. However, common areas like corridors, stairs and outdoor facilities often require more upkeep. Despite the hotel's age, guests find it to be clean and tidy, though modernization would enhance the overall experience.

The wifi experience is mixed with some areas of the hotel offering good and reliable connections, while others, particularly higher floors, suffer from weak or non-existent signals. Improvements are needed to ensure consistent coverage throughout the hotel.
The outdoor pool area garners appreciation for its scenic backdrop and tranquil environment, though maintenance and availability can be inconsistent. While some guests enjoy a refreshing and pleasant experience, others report issues with cleanliness and overall upkeep.
Tennis facilities require significant improvement with multiple reviews highlighting neglect and unplayable conditions. Despite occasional positive comments, the consensus is that the courts need serious attention.
Parking at the hotel is exceptional with ample, secure and convenient spaces available. Guests appreciate the spacious and partially shaded parking lot, which includes free parking directly in front of the hotel.
Aktiv Hotel Eden is well-suited for families, offering spacious and comfortable family rooms, a small pool for children and ample grassy areas for outdoor play.
