Former Monastery HotelInitially built in 1840 as a private family house, the building came to the possession of the Anglican church in the 1870s. The Anglican nuns used to reside in it and they also built a chapel in the centre of the property. The mission of the Anglican nuns was to care for young women who were in need, and those women gave back to the convent by building a small laundry business. The building was used as a convent for about 50 years before being sold to another owner and turned into a hotel.
