Spa access must be pre-booked and is subject to availability. There is a minimum age to access the spa of 16 and all treatments are restricted to those aged 18 and over. Treatments are not currently available to book on Sundays.

Some found that the previous spa manager's departure caused quite a bit of confusion. If you're an early-riser, you can benefit from the sauna during the limited 8am-10am window. That said, some guests found the temp of the hot tubs to be too low and found themselves being rushed out a little early. If you're lucky enough to get a booking, the twilight woodland experience is an absolute must-try. Overall, the spa services at Ruthin Castle met with mixed reviews but still has plenty to offer.
