It's a good base for exploring Crete in different directions, though it's a quiet location and mountain road to the place is a little bit hard. Nevertheless, the view is the best of all of Crete and the guesthouse offers exceptionally beautiful holiday studios with great hosts! The location is high in the mountains, which provides an amazing view of Heraklion. You can enjoy the view over the mountains, the entire area until Heraklion and even observe the sunrise directly over Heraklion from the bed. At Aetovigla Guesthouse, you'll have your dream location, where you can experience breathtaking and spectacular views of nature. The restaurants within 10 minutes drive offer lovely food, though the place is quite isolated and the road is a little challenging. This hotel is an ideal place for those looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of tourist centers and perfect for making cultural visits around Heraklion and hikes in the mountains.
