The hotel sits in the heart of the resort, very close to the village center, offering guests easy access to a host of amenities and attractions. Whether visitors are looking to explore the town or head out to nearby ski areas, they will find the location ideal for their plans. The proximity to a large parking lot and the city center makes it particularly convenient for those on a travel stopover. Despite being positioned roadside, guests report very little traffic noise at night, ensuring a peaceful stay. The hotel is praised for its very nice decor in communal areas, enhancing the overall ambiance. Additionally, the friendly and welcoming staff in both the restaurant and at reception further contribute to a satisfying guest experience. In summary, Hôtel La Redoute offers a strategic spot for exploring both the town of Les Rousses and the surrounding scenic regions, making it an excellent choice for visitors in both summer and winter seasons.

Breakfast

Hôtel La Redoute serves a breakfast that comes across as a mixed bag, yet mostly positively receives nods for its offerings. Guests frequently highlight the breakfast for being abundant and varied, noting it as hearty and catering to different tastes, both sweet and savory. Many describe it as particularly satisfying and plentiful, creating a favorable impression for most patrons. While some reviews mention that the breakfast surpassed expectations, others hint at its adequacy given the price point, suggesting room for improvement in quality and choice. Elements such as limited croissant distribution and few savory options surface as common critiques. Despite these occasional drawbacks, the breakfast generally maintains a standard appreciated by many, striking a balance between simplicity and variety. However, some guests point out that the breakfast price is relatively high concerning its offerings, with some aspects not fully matching the cost. Overall, the breakfast experience at Hôtel La Redoute offers a pleasant start to the day for most guests, albeit with minor areas for enhancement.

Dinner

Hôtel La Redoute offers a convenient dining option within its premises, which many guests find appealing. The restaurant receives praise for its hearty dishes and the use of fresh ingredients, particularly noting the quality of homemade fries. Diners have had exceptional dinner experiences on occasion, appreciating the excellent fondue and finding the chef to be delightful. However, there are some areas for improvement, particularly in the consistency of food quality, as certain dishes, like salmon, have not met expectations. While the restaurant is generally regarded as very good, the pricing is considered somewhat high relative to the resort's usual range. Despite these mixed reviews, aspects such as the calm atmosphere and cleanliness of the dining area contribute positively to the overall experience.

Rooms

Hôtel La Redoute offers a mixed experience in terms of room quality, combining spaciousness and essential comforts with areas that need improvement. Guests have often remarked on the large, well-insulated, and soundproofed rooms, providing a quiet retreat despite the hotel's outdated decor. While the rooms deliver basic comforts with clean spaces and comfortable beds, the decor and amenities are quite simple and somewhat worn, with some elements showing wear and tear, such as air conditioning and double glazing being absent in certain rooms. There are occasional maintenance issues, including reports of a water leak, which detracts from an otherwise pleasant stay. Despite these setbacks, the hotel remains clean overall, with committed staff working diligently to fulfill guests' needs and assist in resolving reservation mishaps. Although the rooms don't feature modern luxury, they do offer a tranquil, practical space in which visitors can unwind in the heart of a prime location.

Beds

At Hôtel La Redoute, guests have mixed opinions about the beds. Many visitors appreciate the comfort, citing comfortable beds and good quality bedding as highlights of their stay. They praise the bedding as correct and of good quality, suggesting that the hotel has made an effort to provide a pleasant sleep experience. However, some guests note issues such as sagging mattresses, bowl-shaped beds, and old or soft bedding that detracts from comfort. Although some travelers enjoy the condition and comfort of the beds, there are aspects that could be improved to ensure a consistently restful night for all guests.

Cleanliness

Hôtel La Redoute receives consistent praise for its cleanliness from guests. Reviewers commonly describe the hotel as very clean, with several highlighting the impeccable cleanliness standards upheld throughout their stay. The rooms reportedly maintain a high level of cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable experience, with no complaints about the bedding or the neatness of the bathrooms. Guests also note the brightness of the rooms, further enhancing the feeling of freshness. While the hotel's cleanliness receives positive feedback, some reviews suggest areas needing attention in terms of maintenance and the condition of specific facilities like carpets. Nonetheless, the helpful staff and overall cleanliness leave guests satisfied with their stay, even amidst concerns about the hotel's outdated aspects or noise levels.
