Huma by Umbral seems to draw significant criticism regarding its three-star rating with many guests feeling it does not meet the expected standards for such a rating. Several reviews highlight that the hotel is in need of maintenance with common complaints about dirty towels, old carpets and even the presence of cockroaches. Some guests did not receive basic toiletries like soaps and shampoos, which one would typically expect in a three-star establishment.
Despite these issues, there are some positive aspects noted by guests. The location of the hotel is praised, making it a potentially good choice for those prioritizing proximity over luxury. Additionally, guests appreciate the size of the apartments and find the staff friendly and welcoming. The hotel also features a pool, although opinions are mixed regarding whether this is enough to justify the three-star rating.
In conclusion, while Huma by Umbral has its advantages, such as a prime location, spacious apartments and amiable staff, it appears to fall short in terms of the overall quality and maintenance expected of a three-star hotel, according to numerous guest reviews.
