Atlantis "Pleasure by the Sea" is a fantastic hotel located directly on the beach front. The location and the beach were very nice with the apartment situated just in front of the sea at the main Perea beach! The room with sea view provided us with fantastic views of the beach and we enjoyed working with the blue sea in front of us. The cafe/restaurant situated on the ground floor was the best on the beach front and it was so close to the beach. Despite a few stray dogs and cats, the beach was a dream with clean and clear water. The beach was just next to the hotel and we could even join in the party on the beach front. However, some guests noted that the beach wasn't as clean as it could be and city authorities need to do a better job with beach cleanliness. While the beach is not Miami and has unpleasant grey-brownish sand and unpleasant black seaweeds laying right by the sea, it still has its beach which is nice and simple. Overall, the location of the hotel is perfect with a beautiful view of the sea and the promenade, making it an ideal place for a beach vacation.
