The Common Man Inn & Restaurant is a beautiful and cozy hotel located in a quaint town that overlooks the river. While some guests mentioned that the town of Claremont is depressed, others noted that the location is conveniently positioned between Okemo and Sunapee mountains if you're looking to ski in the area. The hotel offers lovely, clean and cozy rooms with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the river and waterfall. The restaurant boasts a fantastic menu with a wide range of delicious options and comes highly recommended for its excellent food and atmosphere. The staff is described as courteous, efficient, accommodating and professional with the hard-working cleaning staff getting many shoutouts. The breakfast received mixed reviews, but most guests agreed that the coffee options were good and the effort put into serving a great breakfast during a pandemic was exceptional. Parking can be an issue, but there are free and safe options available. Overall, The Common Man Inn & Restaurant is a great option for travelers who value cleanliness, cozy atmosphere and convenient location.
