Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Extended Stay America Select Suites in Ocala offers a convenient and strategically beneficial location for travelers. Guests appreciate the hotel's proximity to an array of local dining options and stores, which enhances the convenience for those looking to enjoy nearby amenities without traveling far. The area is deemed safe, adding to the peace of mind for visitors, and is also well-suited for guests requiring flexible booking options for extended stays.
While the hotel is favorably reviewed for its location, feedback on cleanliness reveals significant room for improvement. Guests have reported pervasive odors and issues such as stained bedding, unclean bathrooms, and the presence of mold and bugs, including roaches. These concerns often went unaddressed by guest services, leaving many dissatisfied with the overall cleanliness of the accommodations.
The hotel staff, particularly the front desk team, generally receives positive feedback for their courtesy and professionalism. Guests often note the professionalism and informativeness of the front desk personnel, who contribute positively to the guest experience. However, there are occasional remarks about a lack of warmth from certain staff members, alongside isolated concerns about the availability of bed linens and towels. Despite these issues, the staff is typically seen as accommodating, adding value to the overall stay experience.
