You'll be just a short walk away from fantastic restaurants and bars, making it easy to enjoy the local nightlife. Plus, the hotel is cozy, clean and the staff are very welcoming. While some guests noted parties in nearby rooms and loud music from events like weddings and concerts, overall we found the nightlife to be a major highlight of the area. If you're looking for a true urban experience with plenty of dining and entertainment options, this is the perfect place to stay.

If you're feeling peckish, the hotel features a connected restaurant as well as nearby famous eateries. While the hotel may be geared towards a younger client base, it's a fantastic spot for a young couple looking for a fun night out in the city. Keep in mind, however, that if there's a wedding or other function going on, the guest areas can get congested and noise from the main floor can carry. But overall with options like a rooftop bar, beer garden and dining room, you'll have plenty of choices to satisfy your nightlife cravings. Just be sure to double-check the rooftop bar hours, as it may close early on certain days. All in all, we loved our experience enjoying drinks with a view at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh's rooftop bar.

Some guests also wished that the Starbucks in the lobby was open longer. The hotel does not offer room service due to covid and the restaurant was closed as well. However, guests can make late dinner reservations and explore the nearby areas with lots to do around the hotel. It is worth mentioning that some guests noted that there is a high presence of homelessness in the area which can make it a bit sketchy at night while walking back to the hotel.
