Location

The Imperial Hotel Osaka is a stunning property located along the river, providing guests with beautiful views from their rooms. Although it is not really close to main amenities such as cafes, it is positioned perfectly along the river which enabled guests to walk to Kyoto Castle and the city center, which was a long but pleasant walk. However, the subway station is only about 7 minutes walk away, making it great for getting down to Dotonbori or other lively areas. Some guests found the location a bit far from the center, but the regular shuttle bus to Osaka station was very helpful. There is also a beautiful park and river nearby, making it a great location to unwind. Although it may be a bit out of place at first, the shuttle bus transportation to the train station is free, making it easy to get to. Plus, the quiet location provides a peaceful stay while still being easy to get to. The river view from the rooms is stunning and some even enjoyed seeing the cherry blossoms in season. Overall, the location was great, even though it may be a bit inconvenient to certain areas.
