The rooms at Platinum Ostróda are lauded for their spaciousness, cleanliness and modern amenities like air conditioning and large balconies. The hotel’s apartments stand out for their comfort and practicality. Breakfast

The breakfast experience at Platinum Ostróda is predominantly positive with guests frequently praising the variety and quality of the offerings. Many reviewers highlight the wide selection of dishes available, describing the breakfast buffet as rich, plentiful and satisfying. The array of foods accommodates diverse tastes, ensuring that everyone can find something they enjoy. The presence of both hot and cold items, as well as sweet and savory options, contributes to an overall diverse and well-rounded meal experience. Guests also commend the deliciousness of the breakfast, particularly appreciating the tasty coffee and freshly prepared items like made-to-order omelettes and pancakes. The breakfasts are not only delicious but also generous in portions, leaving guests well-fed and ready for the day. The cleanliness and presentation of the breakfast area further enhance the dining experience with some noting the friendly and helpful staff who contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are occasional mentions of less variety and instances where the food is not replenished as promptly as expected. A few reviews point to monotonous or basic selections, suggesting room for improvement. Despite these minor issues, the consensus is that the breakfast at Platinum Ostróda is a standout aspect of the hotel with many guests finding it to be a key highlight of their stay.

Dinner

The dining experience at Platinum Ostróda has garnered mixed reviews from guests with certain standout moments. Many guests praised the homemade food, describing it as delicious and varied. Breakfasts and dinners, in particular, often received high marks for their flavor and variety. The dinner service typically includes appetizers and delightful desserts, which some guests found fantastic and plentiful. However, there were several critiques concerning the dining arrangements. One consistent point of feedback is the limited choice for lunch and dinner, which left a few guests disappointed, particularly those with specific preferences. Some described the dinner menu as lacking refinement and more akin to a canteen style. Additionally, the absence of an operational on-site restaurant during their stay was a significant drawback for many. Guests mentioned the restaurant being closed, presumably due to the pandemic, which left limited dining options on the premises. This situation forced some to seek alternatives outside the hotel, as most nearby restaurants also closed early in the evening. Despite these issues, the option to have breakfast and dinner included in the stay was viewed positively, providing convenience and a decent culinary experience for many visitors. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in terms of food variety and availability, the tasty and homemade meals did leave a favorable impression on numerous guests.

Despite a few minor setbacks such as the need for more electrical sockets and better room darkening curtains, overall, the rooms maintain a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. The quiet surroundings and well-maintained facilities contribute to a restful stay. Additionally, amenities like daily room cleaning and unlimited access to the aquapark enhance the guest experience. While room service and some furniture conditions could see improvement, the hotel compensates with delicious breakfasts and kind service. Practical elements such as comfortable desks and chairs make it suitable for work-oriented stays. For guests seeking relaxation, the cozy and well-equipped rooms provide an excellent retreat.

Beds

Platinum Ostróda receives mixed feedback regarding its beds with an overall positive tone highlighting comfort. Guests frequently mention the beds as being very comfortable with some describing them as mega comfortable or super comfortable. The rooms often feature large and spacious beds, which are appreciated by many visitors. However, opinions on the softness of the mattresses vary with some guests finding soft beds an advantage, while others feel they are too soft. Cleanliness is consistently noted with clean bed linen and an overall tidy presentation of the beds. Rooms are often spacious and equipped with efficient air conditioning, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, there are some recurring complaints. Several reviews mention issues with the combination of two single beds instead of a true double, which some guests find quite uncomfortable. The mattresses have also faced criticism for occasional stains or being slightly dented. Additionally, there are reports of small or flat beds, which some find inadequate and uncomfortable, leading to dissatisfaction. In summary, while the majority of guests at Platinum Ostróda find the beds comfortable and appreciate the room's overall setup, there are notable concerns regarding bed size, mattress condition and the inconvenience of combined single beds.

Cleanliness

When considering a stay at Platinum Ostróda, the feedback on cleanliness is a mix of praise and critiques. Many guests consistently praise the hotel for its very clean and comfortable rooms and the overall cleanliness of the facility notably pleases most visitors. The spacious and well-furnished rooms are highlighted with guests appreciating clean bedding, modern décor and a pleasant fragrance throughout the hotel. Additionally, the friendly service and delicious, varied breakfasts add to the positive experience. However, some reviews point out issues that detract from the hotel’s overall appeal. There are noted instances of less-than-optimal cleaning with some rooms having dirty carpets, cobwebs, dusty surfaces and the occasional unpleasant smell. Concerns about worn-out equipment and the need for renovations are also mentioned, including peeling veneer and stained carpets. Despite these issues, bathrooms generally receive positive remarks for cleanliness. In conclusion, while the majority of guests find Platinum Ostróda to be a clean and comfortable stay, there are some areas, particularly related to the maintenance and thorough cleaning of certain rooms and common areas, that might need attention to ensure a more consistently positive experience.

Visitors particularly appreciate the reception staff, often described as "very well-trained," "competent," and "nice and helpful." The bar and dining room staff also receive positive feedback, although some reviews noted a lack of friendly smiles in the dining area. Overall, the service is considered professional, polished and courteous with references to "flawless service" and "superb staff" highlighting the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. The inclusion of pool access in the accommodation price is a significant plus for guests, providing unlimited opportunities for relaxation. However, there are mentions of limitations with some guests disappointed by restricted access times, typically to only an hour daily. Despite this, the overall impression remains favorable, as the pool offers excellent relaxation and additional facilities like a salt cave and views of a nearby lake. The proximity to a larger city pool only 50 meters away also adds convenience for those wanting more options. While some guests found the pool temperature a bit cold, the amenities and overall experience remain highly regarded.

Platinum Ostróda offers a variety of parking options that cater well to most guests. The hotel boasts a large parking lot that is free of charge, providing ample space for vehicles without adding any additional fees. Parking is conveniently located right next to the hotel, making it accessible and easy for guests to maneuver their cars. Despite the general satisfaction, there are mixed reviews regarding the size and availability of parking spots. Some guests found the parking area sufficiently large and free from any issues, while others experienced limited spaces, especially due to the public swimming pool not being hotel-owned. Consequently, the availability of free parking can sometimes depend on the demand. In summary, while the parking situation at Platinum Ostróda is mostly favorable with free, on-site parking being a significant benefit, potential guests might need to consider the possibility of occasional parking shortages. Overall, the convenience and cost-free nature of the parking make it an attractive feature for many visitors.

The pool area includes a unique rushing river feature that adds excitement to the visit. Families particularly enjoy the connected aquapark, which is accessible via an underground passage, described as a thrilling adventure for children.
