The surroundings, including the botanical park and the sea, are easily reachable with a relaxed 10 to 15-minute walk. The central location is complemented by the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations, as well as the friendly and welcoming nature of the staff.
Overall, Vila Ramybe’s blend of a tranquil environment and strategic location, combined with excellent service and amenities, make it a favored choice for those visiting Palanga.
Breakfast
Vila Ramybe offers an impressive breakfast experience that consistently receives high praise from guests. The breakfast is not only delicious but also hearty and filling, providing a great start to the day. Guests can choose from a menu where one dish and one drink are freshly made to order, ensuring a personalized and freshly prepared meal each morning. The breakfast menu is described as abundant, featuring excellent dishes that are tastefully presented with a special mention of the delicious pancakes and perfect scrambled eggs with bacon.
The quality of the food is consistently highlighted with many reviewers mentioning that the breakfast is fresh, delicious and satisfying. Large portions and a variety of options make for a pleasant dining experience. The friendly staff and the good atmosphere further enhance the dining experience, contributing to an overall positive start to the day.
While some guests would prefer a buffet option or noted that the breakfast could be more plentiful or classy, the majority of reviews reflect a strong satisfaction with the current offerings. The combination of delicious food, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere makes the breakfast at Vila Ramybe a memorable part of the stay for many guests.
Rooms
Vila Ramybe offers a mixed bag of experiences in its rooms, often leaning towards the positive. Guests highlight the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, frequently noting them to be tidy, cozy and spacious. The large, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms add to the overall comfort. Many rooms feature big balconies, contributing to both space and a pleasant atmosphere.
The hotel's staff receives commendations for being accommodating, readily providing items like electric heaters upon request. Despite being in need of some updates, including air conditioning and newer furnishings, the rooms generally meet guest expectations for essential amenities. The cozy and economical rooms, while outdated and in some cases small and cold, are appropriately equipped for a comfortable stay.
Bright rooms with large windows and separate entrances offer added convenience and the location near the center, a park and the sea, paired with free parking and a tasty breakfast, enhances the overall experience. Although some economy class rooms show signs of wear and feature narrow beds, they remain clean and serviceable for budget-conscious travelers.
The variability in room quality means guests may encounter issues like uncleaned rooms over multiple days, low ceilings and dated decor. However, the positives, including neat and cozy interiors, comfortable accommodations and a prime location, often outweigh these concerns, making Vila Ramybe a solid choice for many travelers.
Beds
At Vila Ramybe, guests have had a mixed experience with the beds. Many found the beds to be comfortable with several appreciating the large and very comfortable options available. However, there are notable critiques about the state of some mattresses and beds. Some guests mentioned that the mattresses were old, worn or too soft, leading to discomfort. Additionally, issues like creaking beds and narrow beds were highlighted. While some enjoyed a restful sleep, others felt that certain mattresses were hard, uncomfortable or simply in need of replacement. The overall impression is that while comfort can be found, updates and improvements to the beds could enhance the stay for all guests.
Cleanliness
Vila Ramybe receives a variety of reviews concerning its cleanliness with a notable number of positive remarks. Guests often highlight the clean, tidy and well-maintained rooms with some describing them as comfortable and big. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is frequently praised, making it a standout feature for many visitors. The bathroom, in particular, receives compliments for its size and cleanliness.
However, a few reviews suggest room for improvement. Some guests noted that their rooms were not cleaned during their stay and there were occasional issues with mold and dirt upon closer inspection. Additionally, the condition of amenities like heating and bathroom doors could use some attention, as mentioned by guests who experienced unheated bathrooms and creaky floors.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere contribute positively to the guest experience, making Vila Ramybe a generally clean and hospitable option for travelers.
Staff
Vila Ramybe boasts an impressive reputation, thanks largely to its exceptional staff. Guests consistently highlight the team's friendliness and helpfulness, making visitors feel as though they are staying with close relatives. The hosts communicate warmly and openly, ensuring a gracious welcome and a pleasant farewell. Reviewers often mention the attentive, polite and professional service, particularly during breakfast, where customer preferences are thoughtfully considered.
The youthful employees impress with their friendliness and language skills, contributing to an atmosphere of care and comfort. Despite occasional mentions of untrained staff members, the overwhelming majority of reviews describe the staff as wonderful, hardworking and caring. Such attributes make Vila Ramybe a charming and inviting destination for travelers seeking a nurturing hotel experience.
Parking
Guests at Vila Ramybe generally found the parking facilities to be convenient and adequate. Many appreciated the availability of parking on the hotel premises and the good parking options provided. Free parking on Medžiotojų Street and on-site parking spaces were noted as positives with some guests mentioning that the hotel considered customer requests regarding parking arrangements.
Additionally, the option to leave the car longer on the day of departure was highlighted as a convenience. However, there were mentions of an additional parking fee of €10 per day that some guests only found out about after booking. Despite the tight street-side parking in Palanga, the hotel's provision of a parking lot for its clients made it largely hassle-free. As a whole, parking at Vila Ramybe seems to meet guest expectations with a balance of free and paid options.
