Baymont by Wyndham Fort Myers Central is a hotel that offers basic accommodations with a few commendable aspects. The staff are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpful reception service, making for an inviting atmosphere. While the property itself is clean on the outside and boasts a good location with spacious parking spaces, it shows signs of needing significant care and updates, as it appears to be going through a transition period.
Despite the comprehensive breakfast provided, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms leave much to be desired with reports of bugs and dirty bathrooms. The facilities are described as old and functional but could benefit from some tender loving care. Guests have mentioned that the hot water does not always work and that the noise levels outside the rooms can be quite high, impacting the comfort of the stay.
The standard rooms are adequate for short-term stays, although some guests feel that the property is overpriced for the amenities offered. While the building itself has potential, it currently appears worn out and run down. Despite these drawbacks, some guests have indicated they would choose to stay again, suggesting that the hotel's positive aspects and possibly its pricing for availability might make it a feasible option for certain travelers.
