Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Spark By Hilton Fort Myers generally receives positive reviews for its convenient location, which is regarded as ideal for travelers due to its close proximity to the Southwest Florida International Airport, JetBlue Park and the interstate. Guests appreciate the practical and accessible aspect of the location, as well as its closeness to eateries, shops and attractions. The on-site parking is also highlighted as plentiful and convenient, contributing to a hassle-free experience.
The hotel staff is frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness with special acknowledgments for individuals like Sean and Alexandria who provide exceptional service. Overall, the team, including housekeeping and front desk personnel, are generally well-regarded for their professionalism and attentiveness, creating a supportive environment for guests.
The rooms receive commendations for their spaciousness, comfortable beds and adequate stocking of essentials. However, persistent issues with moldy and musty odors, outdated furnishings and occasional maintenance problems suggest a need for refurbishment. Cleanliness is another area with mixed feedback; while many guests find the rooms clean and well-maintained, others report significant issues such as dirty carpets, stained towels and presence of bugs. This inconsistency hints at a need for improved and more consistent housekeeping standards.
The breakfast offerings at Spark By Hilton Fort Myers evoke mixed feelings. Some guests appreciate the inclusion of breakfast in the room rate and enjoy items like warm waffles, fluffy scrambled eggs and bacon. Despite this, the majority note that the selection is minimal and the quality is inconsistent with complaints about cold food and limited variety.
The pool area, described as clean and occasionally open for late swims, has its downsides too. Overlooking the parking lot and subject to closure at inconvenient times, the pool doesn’t always meet guest expectations regarding cleanliness and maintenance.
Generally, the hotel provides a solid base for travelers due to its strategic location, pleasant staff interactions and comfortable beds, though areas like room maintenance, breakfast variety and overall cleanliness could benefit from more consistent attention and improvement.
