Campanile Setubal delivers a commendable experience for a three-star hotel with its facilities and services often surpassing the expected standards of its rating. Cleanliness is a notable positive, consistently mentioned by guests. Despite its older, somewhat outdated structure—a characteristic shared by many hotels in the Campanile chain—the property manages to offer good value for money.
While the motel-style rooms are functional, some reviewers noted the absence of a minibar or mini fridge, which could enhance the stay, particularly given the hotel's category. The accommodation may not be ideal for extended stays, but for shorter visits, it provides an adequate and cost-effective option.
Overall, while modernization may be necessary to compete with newer establishments, the hotel remains a solid choice for travelers seeking affordable and clean lodging.
