Cleanliness across the hotel is frequently praised, particularly the dedication of the room cleaning team. However, concerns about dirty public spaces and occasional unpleasant odors suggest areas where consistency could be better. The hotel's proximity to the Riyadh Arena, major financial districts, Business Gate and various highways makes accessing essential spots a breeze. Despite being set in a quiet, serene area, which many find preferable for relaxation, there are some trade-offs such as the limited availability of nearby attractions within walking distance, necessitating taxi rides for errands or shopping trips. The restaurant team is often noted for being hospitable and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, there are some minor criticisms regarding the breakfast. A few guests mention that the quality could be improved and that the breakfast offerings haven't changed much over time. Instances of non-fresh boiled eggs and dissatisfaction with the presentation of the buffet have been pointed out. Some guests also felt that for the price paid, the breakfast should have been included or offered more value. Despite these critiques, cleanliness and the overall meal variety remain well-regarded, making the breakfast experience generally positive for most guests.

Dinner

The Holiday Inn Riyadh Izdihar by IHG, offers a dining experience that has mixed reviews from its guests. A notable highlight is the delicious Indian biryani, which was particularly praised for being satisfying even when ordered late at night. However, several guests pointed out the inconvenience of having to cross a main road to access the restaurant, especially since the on-site dining was limited to breakfast only in certain parts of the hotel. There were also concerns about the quality and pricing of the food with numerous guests mentioning that meals were expensive. The quality of food received mixed feedback with some describing it as average or poor, particularly noting that lunch and room service did not meet expectations. The breakfast options include rice, meat and beans, which provides a hearty start to the day, but overall, the pricing across breakfast, lunch and dinner was deemed too high by many guests. Accessibility issues in the lobby, such as the lack of an elevator and the fact that meals are not included, were also highlighted as drawbacks, particularly during Ramadan. In summary, while there are some positive notes about specific dishes like the Indian biryani, the general sentiment toward dining at the Holiday Inn Riyadh Izdihar leans towards the need for improvement in both quality and affordability.
