Visitors have found that their rooms are kept very clean with the exception of a few complaints about fair cleaning. Unfortunately, some guests have reported issues with unclean outdoor patios and hair left behind by previous occupants in the bathroom. Some carpets have been stained as well, but this has not taken away from the overall level of cleanliness at the hotel. A considerable amount of dust has been reported in a few places, but it is not a major concern. Despite the positive feedback, some travelers have a mixed opinion of the hotel's hygiene. Trash was found throughout the property and the pool has not always been well-maintained. Some reviewers mentioned killing large roaches and crickets during their stay, warning future guests to be vigilant.

The porter, Jon, is charming, attentive and accommodating. The drivers provide free drop-offs within two miles and pick-ups within half a mile. The pool staff is very attentive and welcoming. The hospitality at the hotel is incredible with someone always available to help and responsive service. The food and service are great and the grounds are beautiful. The staff, from the valet to the front desk, are very helpful, friendly and courteous providing top-notch service. Overall, the Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows staff will go above and beyond to ensure a lovely and enjoyable stay.
