Summary of reviews related to the 'Spa' categoryThe spa at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds is a perfect base for a spa weekend with fabulous saunas and welcoming, clean gym and spa facilities. The pool and gym are an added bonus, but some reviewers found the pool area to be old and poorly maintained. While some guests had issues with the condition of the changing rooms and showers, others had a great time using the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. However, one guest was disappointed to find out that another guest was allowed to bring their child into the spa area before 0900, which clashed with their plans. Although some of the spa facilities were considered basic, most guests found them nice, if not very good with competitively priced spa treatments that were worth every penny. The staff, particularly the spa staff, were said to be extremely friendly and supportive, even working above and beyond at times. However, noise in the spa area could be a problem and some guests were disappointed to find that the sauna was not at the right temperature, lockers were broken and there was no shower gel in the showers. Additionally, the swimsuit dryer had been removed from the wall. Despite these small issues, the spa at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds was considered a great facility by many guests.
