Of note are the spectacular highlights such as the pool, sauna and bar on the tower. The resort is perfect for those seeking wellness with its vast range of facilities and treatments. The resort also offers delicious food, fantastic views of the surrounding region and a well-thought-out hygiene plan. The Mawellness-massage and pedicure are highly recommended. However, guests should note that treatments can be fully booked in advance. The size of the wellness area is enormous and it can take a few days to explore everything. With modern and appealing design, the theme saunas and pools are charming and the Spa-Bereich is out of the ordinary. The spa area is well-maintained, but some areas are not well-kept. The hotel staff is not sufficiently informed about all hotel amenities, aspects of catering quality being one such example. Hygiene is not adequately maintained in the restaurant when guests are wearing bathrobes and the schedule for spa area opening hours is considered too short. Guests noted that the 3G rule is not enforced and social distancing is not always observed in the sauna. Overall, Mawell Resort is an excellent place for guests who appreciate a beautiful spa facility and an excellent selection of wellness activities.
