H4 Hotel Solothurn's gym receives a mixed reception from its guests. While some appreciate its well-maintained and adequately equipped fitness center, many indicate that it is rather small and minimalistic for a hotel of its caliber. There are positive notes on the gym being sufficient for basic workout needs with some guests describing it as lovely and absolutely adequate. However, others have pointed out that the fitness area is quite limited and lacks a variety of machinery one might expect in a four-star hotel.
The gym's location on the terrace is mentioned, offering a pleasant view, but this feature doesn't seem to compensate for its size and equipment limitations. Comments reflect that the fitness facility may fall short for those looking for a more comprehensive workout experience with some jokingly calling it a small room barely furnished with a few basic exercise tools. The rooftop bar's closure may also affect the overall experience for guests looking for both fitness and relaxation options.

While some guests highlight a well-equipped gym and a well-stocked fitness room, this feedback contrasts with other mentions indicating that no gym or fitness center is available at the hotel. There are positive remarks about good gym facilities and a good gym on site, which suggest that certain aspects of the fitness amenities are satisfactory for some visitors. However, the contrasting statements might indicate variability in guest experiences or possibly differences in expectations regarding the fitness amenities at the hotel.
