Quest St Kilda Bayside is praised for its prime location in the heart of St Kilda. Nestled in a quiet, leafy neighborhood, it offers a peaceful retreat while being conveniently close to vibrant attractions like Acland and Fitzroy Streets, Luna Park and the Palais Theatre. With easy access to public transportation and proximity to the beach, cafes and restaurants, it’s highly regarded for its convenience whether attending local events, exploring nightlife or enjoying beachside activities.
The rooms at Quest St Kilda Bayside stand out for their spaciousness and cleanliness. Well-equipped with essential amenities like washing machines, kitchenettes and comfortable beds, they cater to both short and long stays. Families benefit from the roomy suites and apartments. Nonetheless, while the majority of guests found the rooms clean and comfortable, some noted minor maintenance issues and outdated decor. Overall, the rooms deliver satisfactory value, bolstered by features like a pool area and good security.
Cleanliness is a highlight with many guests appreciating the spotless condition of the rooms and the diligent housekeeping staff. This attention to detail significantly enhances the overall comfort of the stay, despite occasional minor oversights.
The staff at Quest St Kilda Bayside are frequently praised for their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. Guests often recount welcoming interactions and attentive service, which contribute to a warm and comfortable atmosphere. While there are isolated reports of less favorable encounters, the general consensus underscores the staff’s positive impact on the guest experience.
However, the hotel’s wifi service is a notable drawback with frequent reports of slow, unreliable and intermittent connections. This is a significant area for improvement.
The pool area is described as lovely and relaxed, offering a pleasant view and comfortable setting. Nonetheless, it’s closed during the winter months. The proximity to the beach is a consistent highlight, making it an ideal spot for those who enjoy coastal activities.
Parking at Quest St Kilda Bayside is mixed; while secure parking is available, the spaces are often tight and the cost is considered high. Improved management and clearer pricing would enhance the parking experience.
Quest St Kilda Bayside’s excellent location also provides easy access to the area’s vibrant nightlife. Despite the hotel’s proximity to numerous entertainment options, the street remains quiet, ensuring a peaceful night’s rest.
Guests have varied opinions on the beds with many praising their comfort and some mentioning issues with firmness and mattress quality. Despite this, the general sentiment is that the beds provide a restful sleep.
In summary, Quest St Kilda Bayside offers a great location, clean and spacious rooms and friendly staff, making it an attractive choice for visitors looking to enjoy all that St Kilda has to offer. However, improvements in wifi service and parking management could further enhance the overall guest experience.
